The Nokia N97 is a S60 5th Edition mobile computer with a large 3,5“, bright nHD (640 x 360 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio) TFT color display with resistive touch screen and tactile feedback.
The device provides excellent user experience for internet and entertainment by combining qwerty keyboard with touch UI. Use the N97 to connect to mobile broadband using WLAN or HSDPA (3.5G).

A Quad band GSM device with GPRS support, EDGE data, 3G connectivity and WiFi the Nokia E63 Blue also offers Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP stereo support and USB for PC synchronisation. Nokia announced a unique, slender monoblock device for its select global CDMA markets. The Nokia 2228 combines a slim 12 mm compact design and ultra light weight, with some essential features, targeted for a stylish and practical consumer.
True multi-tasking is simple with the Nokia 2228. It’s an affordable 1.3 megapixel camera phone with a built in Nokia media player, supporting most of the common digital formats. It comes with several modes of messaging to make sure you can reach out to your friends and family, whether your preferred way of communications is short or long message, image or music. On top of all that, it comes with speaker dependent voice recognition, an integrated handsfree speaker and can be used as a modem which allows a consumer to use their phone to connect to a PC for internet access.
The slender design features a unique lanyard hole which has an LED indicator light that flashes with incoming calls or messages waiting. The LED indicator “pulses” in cycles at a user-defined interval or in the off mode, allowing users to always see if any messages await them. The Nokia 2228 is expected to launch in select CDMA markets in the fourth quarter of 2008.
Sporting the hybrid form factor Nokia E75 will feature both a regular 12-key alphanumeric keypad and a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
The handset will also come with a metallic back panel, much like the Nokia E71. Some of the other known features of this business powerhouse include a 2.4″ display, a 3.2 megapixel camera and Wi-Fi. One might also easily guess GPS, Bluetooth and USB and probably a 2.5mm audio jack.
Nokia has a brand new slider handset powered by the Series 40 operating system - the Nokia 6260 Slide.
The phone call is the most obvious way to use the new handset to connect with people, but it will also be used to share photographs and videos, check on a friend’s social network status or be guided to a restaurant to meet up with a loved one. The Nokia 6260 slide features quick access to search engines and points of interest straight from the home screen and the new 360° navi-key allows a great mobile Internet experience.
The spanking new Nokia 6260 slide easily steals the spotlight with Wi-Fi, GPS, 320 x 480 pixels display, and a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. We bet that reading those specs the words "dumb phone" or "S40" would never cross you mind. But the new Nokia 6260 slide is exactly that - a feature phone running the latest S40 6th edition user interface. Say hello to the next S40 super phone.
The unassumingly named Nokia 6260 slide has the same conservative design borrowed from the current 6xxx lineup (Nokia 6600 slide and Nokia 6210 Navigator). Obviously, the lack of original design ideas is not plaguing only Sony Ericsson recently.
Still we can't really brace our excitement as the 6260 slide is the best thing that has happened to the Nokia S40 family for quite some time now.
The Nokia 6260 slide sports a 2.4-inch 16M color display with the one-off resolution of 320 x 480 pixels (HVGA). It has quad-band GSM support plus HSDPA 10.2 Mbps. As we already mentioned, there is also Wi-Fi and a built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support.
The integrated 5 megapixel autofocus camera is accompanied by a dual LED flash. Sadly, it will only be capable of recording VGA video at 15 fps as most recent midrange S40 handsets.
There is 200MB of internal memory and a microSD slot with support for up to 8GB cards. The 360-degree D-pad is another first for the S40 lineup - it's a nice enhancement, which sounds as a cool addition to the digital map scouring or the mobile web browsing.
Speaking of web browsing, the Nokia 6260 will be the first feature phone to sport the awesome Nokia WebKit Open Source Browser, previously available only on the Symbian S60 smartphones. It's one of the best mobile browsers currently boasting a virtual mouse pointer interface, incremental page rendering, visual history browsing and page mini-map. Flash Lite 3 support is also added to the S40 platform, which should make watching flash videos a breeze - another first for a feature phone.
Stereo Bluetooth 2.1, a microUSB port that's used for charging, and a 2.5mm A/V jack with TV-out functionality are all aboard the 6260 slide.
The Nokia 7100 Supernova is a stylish Dual-band fashion GSM phone E900/1800 or E850/1900 (for some markets) that includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 and Mail on Ovi. Additionally, the Nokia 7100 Supernova offers 2" QVGA screen and Opera mini browser to surf the web through a GPRS connection.
The Nokia 2330 classic is a Dual-band GPRS phone for EGSM 900/1800 or GSM 850/1900 (for some markets) that includes a VGA camera, Stereo FM radio with recording feature, Bluetooth 2.0, Mail on Ovi and MIDP 2.1 APIs for application creation.
The Nokia 2323 classic is a a practical and easy-to-use Dual-band GPRS phone for EGSM 900/1800 or GSM 850/1900 (for some markets) that includes EMS (enhanced messaging service) client, Bluetooth 2.0, FM Radio, e-mail and MIDP 2.1 APIs for application creation.
Today Nokia introduced officially two new members of the Nseries family - Nokia N79 and Nokia N85. The two devices come with rather different designs but both have quite extensive specs sheets to brag about.
Nokia N85
Nokia N85 is a quad-band GSM and tri-band UMTS dual slider, inspired by the controversial design of the Nokia N81. It’s also got HSDPA support to improve network data transfer speed even further. Undoubtedly, the most exiting feature about the N85 is the display - a 2.6″ 16M color AMOLED unit of QVGA resolution. There is a built-in accelerometer for automatic rotation of the UI and dedicated gaming keys for improving the N-gage gaming expirience.
Nokia N85
Some of the other features of the Nokia N85 include microUSB slot, 3.5mm standard audio jack and GPS. The handset running of the Symbian OS with S60 UI and Feature Pack 2 preinstalled will also have WLAN and Bluetooth among its connectivity options. A 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and autofocus assist light is mounted at the back of the device. It can manage the sweet VGA video recording at up to 30 fps. A secondary CIF camera is at the front to take care of the video calls.
The built-in memory of the Nokia N85 is 74MB and there is a microSD card slot to extend that. An 8GB card (the largest currently available on the market) will be included in the retail package. The final multimedia touches to the Nokia N85 are the FM radio and FM transmitter.
Nokia N85 will be available in Copper color in October for an estimated retail price of 450 euro (660 US dollars) before taxes or subsides.

Nokia has announced its Supernova series with four new models: 7210, 7310, 7510, and 7610. Targeted at fashion-conscious consumers, the Supernova phones sport a stylish design along with customizable Xpress-on front- and back- covers in different colors and surfaces.
The Nokia 7210 Supernova is a candy-bar phone with tri-band GSM plus EDGE support, FM radio, 2 mega pixels camera, and SD memory expansion slot, among others. The Nokia 7310 Supernova is also a candy-bar model featuring a 2 mega pixels camera with 4x digital zoom. The Nokia 7510 is a clamshell-type phone, and comes with a 2.2-inches QVGA display, microSD support, 2 mega pixels camera with 4x digital zoom and LED flash, FM radio, A-GPS support, and access to Nokia Maps 1.2, WidSets, and the new browser. Meanwhile, the Nokia 7610 is a slider, and features a 3.2 mega pixels camera with dual-LED flash and 8x digital zoom, dedicated music keys, FM radio, and access to Nokia WidSets for navigating and sharing content. The phone also features Theme Colorizer for capturing any color and applying the same to key illumination and phone wall-paper.

Nokia has announced the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition at CTIA this week in Las Vegas. The Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition is the latest iteration of Nokia’s popular line of Internet Tablet products and is the first Nokia product engineered to take advantage of new wide-area high-speed mobile WiMAX networks.
The Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition is expected to be available in the United States during the summer of 2008 in areas where WiMAX connectivity is available.
WiMAX is a standards-based wireless broadband technology that delivers an open Internet experience similar to that of fixed broadband technologies with typical data download speeds of up to 2-4 Mbps per user with peak download speeds of up to 10 Mbps. Unlike current single point local area technologies like Wi-Fi which have a range of a few hundred feet, WiMAX networks consist of a number of interconnected base stations, each with a radius of up to 2-3 miles, that allow for handoffs from one base station to another as users move about a region or metro area. Additionally, WiMAX networks integrate technology designed to maximize the quality of service for each subscriber.
“By delivering the kind of open Internet experience that consumers previously only expected on a desktop PC, the Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition is a compelling example of how next generation broadband wireless technology will not only change the way people think about the Internet, it will change the very nature of the Internet itself,” said Ari Virtanen, Vice President of Convergence Products for Nokia. “Much in the way that the evolution of the fixed Internet from dial-up to broadband enabled a host of new Internet services and changed people’s expectations of what an Internet experience should be, the transition to a broadband Internet experience set free from the constraints of a fixed network will spark the next wave of new mobile Internet services, and will forever change the perception of what the Internet can be.”
Along with a full featured web browser, powered by Mozilla, that takes full advantage of the Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition’s large 4.13 inch touch screen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a variety of popular web-based services are also supported. Many of these applications can be found on Nokia’s dedicated OS 2008 User Site. To keep connected while on-the-go, a number of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Instant Messaging (IM) clients are available, including Skype(TM), Google Talk(TM), and Gizmo5, which can also take advantage of the Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition’s built-in web cam for video calls. A client for the popular Rhapsody online music service is also available, transforming the Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition into a portable jukebox with millions of songs available to enjoy at a few taps of the screen. Beyond these well-known services, an active developer community has also emerged around the Linux-based Internet Tablet platform, creating additional applications - from games to productivity tools.
A number of additional features further enhance the utility of the Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition. With built-in GPS, the Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition can easily transform itself into a fully featured personal navigation device, complete with real-time on-screen maps. An integrated media player and 2 GB of internal memory, expandable to a full 10 GB of memory with the addition of an optional microSD memory card, allows the Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition to store and play back a large library of music and video content. When not in range of a WiMAX network, the Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition can also access the Internet over Wi-Fi or via conventional cellular data networks by pairing to a compatible mobile phone via Bluetooth technology.
Also being introduced with the Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition is the newest Internet Tablet operating system. This new upgraded OS2008 introduces useful new features to the platform, including an enhanced e-mail client, support for Chinese character rendering in the browser and RSS feeds and Seamless Software Update functionality to eliminate manual software updates, making periodic updates of the operating system quick and easy. While standard on the Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition, current owners of Nokia N810 and N800 Internet Tablets with earlier operating systems will be able to upgrade their device to the revised operating system for free during the second quarter of 2008.

It's been a while since mobile phones became an essential business tool and a huge number of devices are being specially designed for the purpose (not even mentioning the camera-free versions of some handsets). It seems that Nokia 5800 Tube is really close to an official announcement, as more quality images and detailed information has leaked online. An important discovery is the Nokia 5800 will not spawn a new series of its own called XpressMedia, but will use the already existing XpressMusic. According to the leaked information, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has a 3.2-inch 16M touchscreen TFT display with 640x360 pixels resolution (16:9 display ratio) and some vibrating touch feedback. The device will run on the latest S60 5th edition with accelerometer for auto screen rotation. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic measures 115 x 52 x 14.5mm and weighs 104 g. It's rumored to be officially announced within the next month.
As a mid-range phone, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will feature only a 3 megapixel autofocus camera, but it will have a Carl Zeiss lens, dual LED flash and geo-tagging support, thanks to the built-in GPS with A-GPS function.
Despite its mid-range status, the Nokia 5800 is an expert in communications, sporting quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support plus UMTS/HSDPA on top of it. The other connectivity options include Wi-Fi b/g, stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) and USB 2.0. Finally, this department is completed by a 3.5mm AV jack and TV output.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will also have 140 MB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot (up to 8GB supported). Another obvious fact from the images is the new Nokia BL-5J battery with a capacity of 1320 mAh that will power the Nokia 5800.
Nokia introduced a new compact and affordable clamshell – the Nokia 3610 fold. A moderate price tag and decent looks might be just right to make it click.
Nokia 3610 fold has all four GSM bands supported, which makes it usable worldwide. The internal display is a 2” unit handling up to 262K colors. There’s also a 1.36” 262K-color secondary screen, to be used for indicating incoming calls, messages or showing an analogue timepiece.
The built-in camera offers 1.3 megapixel imaging. Nokia 3610 fold will also feature 30MB of built-in storage and a microSD card slot with support for up to 4GB cards.
The Nokia 3610 Fold is expected to start shipping in the Q3 of 2008 (almost as we speak) at an estimated retail price of 125 euro before taxes and subsidies.
The two new Nseries members – Nokia N79 and Nokia N85 made their debut a day earlier than expected. Photos of the two devices and some more of their specifications appeared online today. They will both run the Symbian OS with S60 UI and will come with the Feature Pack 2 preinstalled.
Nokia N85 will have dedicated game keys and support for N-gage platform for a great gaming experience. The handset will pack an exiting 2.6” 16M AMOLED display, which will be the largest of its kind among GSM phones. In addition the N85 will feature a 5 megapixel camera, WLAN and 3G with HSDPA support. A microSD card slot will allow expanding the built-in memory. The built-in GPS will allow geo-tagging of the photos taken with the camera.
The Nokia N79 is supposed to be a fashion-oriented handset with replaceable back covers. It will also come with a 5 megapixel camera, which will be complemented by a dual LED flash and a protective cover. Among the other features are Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G as well as a microSD card slot. A 4GB card is expected to come in the retail package.
Both the Nokia N79 and Nokia N85 will be available as early as next month but their retail price is yet unknown. Stay tuned for the official announcement at 10:00 CET tomorrow.
